My love of dogs and all animals really is what has led me to pursue a career pampering our furry friends. I really don’t have one favourite breed of dog I prefer. At the moment I have two dogs a Border Collie x Kelpy and an American Staffy. Toby the Border Collie X is very intelligent and loyal. Amber the American Staffy is the most affectionate dog I have ever had. She thinks she is a lap dog and doesn’t realise she is quiet a lapful at 35kg! In the past, we have had Mastiffs, Jack Russells, Cattle Dogs X and a few others, both big and miniature breeds.
We only moved back to Tamborine Mountain a year ago. We are originally from the area, our children grew up here. We had been living in Far North Queensland for the last eleven years, where we owned and ran a successful Barramundi fish farm. I also have a background in customer service, working as a housing manager for a community housing organisation. This has taught me patients, empathy and how to deal with all sorts of people from all walks of life.
